Androgyny | Beauty | Reality. My name is Michael James, I started playing with makeup when I was around 15 years old. I used to use it as a way of making my skin look better, using products such as concealer and pressed powder -- over the course of the following years my makeup skill has snowballed to what you see now through my videos. I started posting videos on the internet in early 2007, starting with a reality online "tv-show" called 'The Complicated Life' in which I would film my daily life and post it. In the past 18 months or so my YouTube channel has grown greatly, receiving over 2 million hits and 25,000 subscribers -- and it continues to grow. The main goal I want to achieve is to break down misconceptions of androgynous people, and to show that beauty and makeup should be exotic, extreme, fun and attractive.
