This 60 minutes segment was shot by my Dad, Larry Mitchell. My Dad was one of the top, rock n' roll, hot-shot, kick-ass cameramen of yesteryear, shooting from the early sixties up until just a few years ago. And this piece is just a snippet into what he did. Take a look. Here they are shooting on 16mm film in a foreign country, under tough circumstances, investigating a pretty unpopular subject. And its BEAUTIFUL. I've heard that my Dad was the master of the manual zoom and you can see it in this piece. There's even rumor that my Dad invented the 'slow-creep in' during interviews when subjects got emotional or tense. I don't think its rumor. My Dad also helped to bring a Hmong family to Los Angeles after shooting this piece. I remember visiting with them. I wonder, 'Where are they today?' My Dad says the father's name was 'Lorgy.' The video was PLAYED ON-SCREEN AT THE GROVE THEATER #7 in LOS ANGELES, CA AT 4:34pm On Friday, August 21st, 2009) Justin took Sarah to see the 'Time Traveler's Wife,' 5:05pm showing at the Grove. He told her the movie started at 4:45pm. They walked into the theater at 4:30 with Sarah saying, 'Oh baby! The film doesn't start until 5:05.' Justin Responds, 'Oh well...' And they sit down. 1 minute later an add for 'Loteria' comes on the screen. 30 seconds later, Justin says 'I gotta hit the restroom' and leaves Sarah in the theater. 20 seconds later, the rest of this video begins to play...
