After only a few hours with the camera I have realized this is a special niche product that will really appeal to those who LOVE B&W photography. The file output is beautiful, rich, has great B&W tones and honestly, not that far off from B&W film. Its expensive at $7950 for the body only but hey, this is to be expected as it is a Leica. The Leica Monochrome announcement plus some footage of me, Thorsten Overgaard and Eric Kim. I traveled to Berlin to get a look at the new Leica Monochrome camera as well as the new X2. Just a quick rough video to show what I have been talking about. The X-Pro 1 has issues focusing in low light while other cameras do not. ALL Handheld video! A sampling of video quality from the Olympus OM-D camera. Nothing artistic but most of this is in low light areas. Some at ISO 1600. Lenses used were the 12mm f/2 and 45mm f/1.8. The 5-Axis IS is AMAZING and world so well. The good news? No shake, no wobbling and no Jello effect! At the end I did a side by side comparison with video from the Fuji X-Pro 1 and the Olympus easily overtook the Fuji in regards to Video. Olympus OM-D E-M5...
