Every year a handful of people young and old from anywhere in the world strike out to thru hike the entire 2182 mile Appalachian Trail. This documentary takes account of their story, and opinions nearly halfway through their journey. It poses thought provoking questions, and uncovers just a little bit about what it is like to be an Appalachian Trail Thru Hiker. A series of test video shots on the second day with this camera body. Although I am not happy with all of the results, some were impressive as hell. With me being an amateur don't assume the problems in this video stem from the camera. That being said, the following is how the shots were taken: Shutter was between 1/50 and 1/60 1080p ALL-I 24fps The ISO was 100 (2 shots were done with ISO 500) Standard Picture Style Sharpness & Contrast all the way off, Saturation down by 2 as suggested by Philip Bloom. Post editing done in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5. This is test footage from the Canon 5D mark iii. Simple shots made in succession to test the basic ability of this camera. All of the shots were a 60 of a second Shutter Speed, 25fps (1920x1080 ALL-I), and 100 ISO. I used a Standard Picture Style. Sharpness and Contrast all the way off, and Saturation down by 2.
