It's a wireless speaker using Apple's Airplay technology (built in) in order to stream music without any wires. With Audyssey's Bass XT and EQ the Audio Dock Air should have some good rich bass and great miss and highs. So far from the initial usage of the speaker, it sound amazing with my only gripe so far being the latency between inputs and changes from devices and when it actually pushes to the Audio Dock Air. Seems to be around a 5 second delay. The look of the Audio Dock Air is pretty cool as well (I love things that keep it simple), with its low key design. It fairly lightweight so you can place it anywhere but I was a little saddened by the fact that it needs to constantly have a powered cable running to it or else it won't work. Right out of the box you'll notice that the quality and attention to detail is high (as it always is with id America). The SPARK comes in various color combinations and designs (pretty much anything to suit anyone). The case they provide is also a hard shell case (no flimsy diaper bag) so you can protect your audio investment. The construction is aluminum but it's still lightweight. While it does have an inline remote it sadly does not have volume control built in, just track control and switching from listening to music to phone calls. This thing is a portal powerhouse when it comes to video creation and even better it takes great pics. One of the hugest advantages of the HX30V is the wifi capability it possesses allowing you to share and transfer files wirelessly without the use of cables (who likes carrying so many cables all the time right?) Also the video that this digital camera produces is 1080p quality and even better at 60fps. No need really for a DSLR to create some high quality video, all you need is the HX30V from Sony now (also a cheaper investment as well). Been using this case for a week or so and definitely like the simplicity. It's got those magnets built into the cover so you get that auto on feature and you really have no issues with bulk cause this thing is slim and sleek. Obviously protection for the iPad is not as good as other bulkier cases but you won't be scuffing up or scratching the thing with the microfiber lining and the front and back protection. They media speakers can connect to pretty much any device. It have audio inputs as well as digital audio optical inputs. From my initial usage they sound awesome, providing clean and crisp sound without much if any distortion. There is some distortion however as very high volume levels (really only due to bass heavy music) however with some tuning that pretty much went away. Overall these things look awesome (incredible build quality honestly) and will make a great addition to my new office. It does bring a question to mind though, what speakers do you currently use in your setup? This isn't your run of the mill 5 or 7 day thermostat, this beast actually learns your behavior and adjusts your temps in your house based on it. Over time (7 days), NEST has a built in algorithm which takes into account your input (when you adjust the temp for comfort) and builds a custom schedule that suits your needs. I had to pick up three of these bad boys because the new house I'm moving into has a three zone system. Installation was relatively easy given the clean instructions provided and all the tools (gotta love the NEST screwdriver). They even include backplates in case you don't want to have unsightly holes showing when you install your NEST (since it has a smaller footprint than your normal thermostats). I went with the clean install without the back plates as it give a sleeker look (unless you want to paint it over). One of the coolest aspects is the ability to adjust the thermostat using your iPhone or Mac. I'll go over this once I've had some more time to test out the NEST and have it learn how I think haha.
