Recently, we were invited by UPS to design the graphics for the Pinellas Educational Foundation and the Stavros Institute in Largo, FL (near Tampa.) Each year, more than 17000 fifth grade students have the opportunity to run a radio station, publish a newspaper, work in a bank, manage a utilities corporation, or work in the awesomest UPS Store ever! With some creative ideas and inspiration, our team was able to put together some really cool concepts, which UPS approved almost immediately! After having so much fun working on the design, we offered to make the trip down to the Tampa area (4.5hrs each way!) to install these graphics. Of course, we couldn't have gone all that way without shooting a time lapse video of the installation. You may notice that partway through the video that the picture goes out of focus. Unfortunately it seems we may have a faulty lens. This is the second time lapse that has fallen out of focus like this and messed up an irreplaceable shoot. We're kinda upset about it if you can't tell. We were honored to be apart of this project and we can't wait to help out again in the future! Dali Decals UPS...

We rearranged and made some improvements to our cut vinyl production warehouse on Wednesday, May 11th. We setup one of our new cameras at the top of our pallet racking with a new fish eye lens. The shot is great, but the time lapse didn't come out quite as good as we had hoped. The camera has an interval timer built into it, but it only takes 999 pics before it needs to be reset, so we needed to reset it every couple of hours. We were really busy with the move though and forgot to reset it once, so we missed out on an hour and a half of pics from 4:45 - 6:15. We were also using a brand new fish eye lens. Even though the camera was set to manual focus and focused properly, it lost focus as the day went on. The video looks pretty cool anyway, so we figured we'd still share it with everyone. We just wish it came out better. Enjoy! Dali Decals...
